Find the dragon eggs and climb the tower. Dragon Tower Climb is a free memory game. Watch where the dragon eggs glow, follow the stones as they shuffle, then pick an egg to climb one floor higher.
How to play
You are climbing a dragon’s tower at night. Every floor has a row of stone tiles, and under some of them sit glowing dragon eggs. Under the others, a sleeping dragon is waiting.
When a floor appears, the eggs glow through the stones for a moment. Then the light fades and every stone looks the same. Tap a stone that hides an egg and you climb one floor higher. Pick a stone with the dragon under it and the dragon wakes: an eye snaps open or a claw flexes, the tower shakes, the other stones show what they were hiding and the run is over.
From floor 3 onwards there’s a twist: after the glow fades, the stones slide around and swap places. Keep your eyes on an egg stone while they move, then tap it where it stops. Stones moving right pass behind the others and stones moving left pass in front, so you can always follow them.
On a keyboard, press 1 to 4 to pick stones from left to right. On the start screen, the arrow keys change the difficulty and Space starts the climb.
Difficulty
Choose a difficulty on the start screen before you begin:
- Easy: 4 stones, 3 hide eggs. Look out for the one with the dragon.
- Medium: 3 stones, 2 hide eggs. The default.
- Hard: 3 stones, only 1 egg.
- Expert: 4 stones, only 1 egg.
Your choice is remembered, and it’s shown next to your best score while you play.
Scoring
Your score is simply the number of floors you climb. The big number at the top is the floor you are on, starting from the ground floor at 0. Your best climb is saved on your device.
The tower gets harder as it grows. The glow starts at a full second and gets shorter on every floor until it’s just a quick flash by floor 19. The shuffles start with a single swap, then add more moves and speed up as you climb. From floor 12, some moves swap two pairs at once or turn all three stones around together.
If you’re offered the chance to continue after the dragon wakes, you carry on from the same floor with new stones and a fresh glow.
Tips
- Watch the gaps. On Easy, it’s often quicker to spot the one stone that stays dark and remember to avoid it.
- Follow one egg, not all of them. You only need one egg to climb, so pick one glowing stone and track only that one through the shuffle.
- Take your time to pick. There’s no timer once the stones stop moving.
Dragon Tower Climb is a quick test of attention and memory that fits into a minute or two, on your phone or on a computer.
