Mini Golf Battle

Trick-shot putting for 2 to 4 friends. Play mini golf free with 2 to 4 players on one phone, online with a link or vs computer. Bank off bumpers, warp through portals and dodge the water.

How to play

Every hole is a small top-down course with walls to bank off and one trick to beat. Take turns putting your own ball; the fewest strokes over the round wins.

Drag back from your ball and let go to putt. The ball goes the opposite way to your drag, like a slingshot, and a longer drag hits harder. A dotted guide shows the direction and a ring the power, but judging the bounces is up to you. Drag back to where you started to cancel. A quick tap on the course plays a soft putt toward that spot, handy next to the cup. On a keyboard, press an arrow key to aim, Left and Right to turn, Up and Down for power and Space to putt.

Pass one phone around with 2, 3 or 4 players, switch seats to CPU to play the computer, or choose Online with friends and share a room link so everyone putts from their own phone. The banner at the top always shows whose turn it is, with their colour and shape.

The holes

There are ten hand-made holes and each one has a gimmick:

  • Bumpers are springy round posts that fire the ball back faster than it arrived.
  • Slopes carry chevrons that drift downhill, and they push a rolling ball that way.
  • Portals come in pairs: roll into one and the ball pops out of the other at the same speed and heading.
  • Sand slows the ball down sharply.
  • Water costs one penalty stroke and puts the ball back where you hit it from.
  • Sliding gates move while you aim, so time your putt for the gap.

Choose 3, 6 or 9 holes; each round deals a fresh mix.

Rules

  • On each hole everyone tees off in turn. The player with the fewest strokes on the last hole tees off first.
  • After that, the ball farthest from the cup plays next, like on a real course, so one player may putt twice in a row.
  • Balls pass through each other, so nobody can knock yours away.
  • You get at most 7 strokes per hole. A ball still out after that is picked up and scores 8.
  • A scorecard follows each hole; gold circles mark holes under par.
  • Lowest total after the last hole wins. Equal totals share the win.
  • Online, each turn has a move clock. If a player runs out of time or leaves, the other player wins a two-player game; with more players the computer takes over that ball.

Tips

  • Use the walls: a firm bank shot is often safer than threading a gap.
  • A slow ball that reaches the cup drops in, but a fast one rolls straight over it.
  • With portals, aim for where the ball comes out.

Easy to pick up and full of lucky bounces, every round stays close to the last putt.
